RESIDENTS CHARGED WITH ANIMAL CRUELTY

Four local residents have been charged with various animal cruelty offenses after dozens of dogs were found on the property of a resident of Middle Township.  The charges were formally filed on Tuesday against 46 year old Dawn Scheid (pictured) and Leroy Thomas, who own the Goshen home where the dogs were found in deplorable conditions.  Kevin Scheid and Leann Thomas were also slapped with charges.  During the raid on the home, authorities found six dead dogs that were buried.
