REPUBLICAN ENTERS THE RACE FOR ATLANTIC CITY MAYOR

A Republican candidate has stepped forward to challenge incumbent Atlantic City Mayor Lorenzo Langford in November. Don Guardian, who heads the city’s Special Improvement District announced his bid for mayor on Tuesday evening. Guardian claims that taxes will increase 25 percent next year if Langford is reelected. The Republican candidate says he will focus on making the streets safe for residents, creating jobs and reducing spending.
