All the workers who were not paid their step increases in Vineland will get that money back. A new report by The Daily Journal says that the city is beginning the repayment of the money that was withheld from their paychecks. Mayor Robert Romano had ordered the money be withheld from the paychecks because he said the city needed guidance from the state on how the new two percent property tax cap would work with union’s salaries.
