REPORT: WILDWOOD COP CHARGED WITH DRUNK DRIVING

A Wildwood police officer has been charged with drunk driving.  The Wildwood Leader reports that Patrolman James Stevens was arrested early Friday morning at Davis and New Jersey avenues and charged with driving while intoxicated.  The arrest was confirmed by Wildwood Police Chief Robert Regalbuto.  Regalbuto is away, but told the Leader he understands that Stevens’ vehicle struck other vehicles before coming to a stop.
