REPORT: UPPER TOWNSHIP MAY CONSOLIDATE ZIP CODES

There’s a movement in Upper Township to consolidate its three zip codes into one number. The Gazette Leader reports that the issue was brought up because the firemen’s relief association may be losing some funding because that money may be heading to Woodbine and Dennis Township…two communities that share zip codes currently with Upper Township. Committeemen Tony Inserra and Jay Newman brought up the funding issue during the last township committee meeting. Upper’s fire district covers three zip codes.
