Two local youths are headed to Chicago next month to participate in the Elks National Hoop Shoot national championship that will feature kids with great basketball skills from around the country. The Gazette Leader reports that Macie McCracken of North Wildwood and Keith Palek III of Woodbine have both advanced after winning their respective competitions in Pennsylvania last weekend.
