REPORT: TWO COPS SETTLE IN CIVIL RIGHT VIOLATIONS CASE

A new report cites that two Atlantic City Police officers have been charged with civil rights violations. The Press of Atlantic City reports that a civil jury found the cops guilty and a settlement was reached for less than the $360,000 that the jury felt should be paid. The name of the officers were not released in the report. Two men claim they were illegally stopped and searched in 2009.
