TWO ARRESTED FOR SELLING PHONY JERSEYS IN THE WILDWOODS

Two brothers from Atlantic County have been arrested and charged with selling counterfeit professional sports jerseys that eventually wound up as prizes on the Wildwoods boardwalk. Brett Strothers and Evan Strothers have both been charged with buying illegal counterfeit sports jerseys and offering them as prizes at their games of chance on the North Wildwood and Wildwood boardwalk.  Both men are expected to appear in federal court today.  They have been charged with conspiracy to traffic in counterfeit merchandise, which can carry prison terms.
