A local assemblyman’s claims that a New Jersey State Trooper disrespectfully during a motor vehicle stop appears to be false. That’s according to a weekend report in the Star Ledger. The Ledger obtained the video of a traffic stop involving Cape May County Assemblyman Nelson Albano back in February where Albano was ticketed for speeding. Albano then fired off a letter to the State Police, alleging that trooper Randy Pangborn “humiliated, embarrassed, and disrespected” Albano as a state legislator. The Star Ledger reports that Pangborn was respectful, calm, never raised his voice and even apologized for having to write the ticket.
