A trooper with the New Jersey State Police has been charged with aggravated assault for beating up a rookie squad member at the Borgata in Atlantic City. The Newark Star Ledger reports that the young trooper was punched in the face repeatedly and suffered various facial injuries in the attack. It happened back on August 5th at the casino while both troopers were off duty.
