REPORT: TRANSPORTATION COMMISSIONER SUPPORTS TAX HIKE TO SUPPORT ROAD PROJECTS

Taxes are going to have to go up to support future transportation projects in the state. These were the thoughts of Transportation Commissioner Jamie Fox in an interview with njspotlight.com. New Jersey’s Transportation Trust Fund is running out and Fox says a tax increase is going to be needed to fix the problem. Fox also said they will look at reducing expenses internally, including merging departments.
