A new plan is being proposed that kill a potential toll hike next year on the Garden State Parkway and New Jersey Turnpike. The hike was apart of way to fund the ARC Tunnel project that Gov. Chris Christie killed last year. Senate Democrats have proposed a plan, according to the Jersey Journal, that would scale back the toll hikes that have been approved for 2012. The report says that the bill would also force Christie to not take toll money to replenish the Transportation Trust Fund.
