REPORT: THREE RESCUED FROM SURF NEAR NORTH WILDWOOD

Three people were rescued off the coast of North Wildwood near Champagne Island Thursday afternoon.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that the beach patrol in the city assisted three people to get to shore after they had difficulty swimming back; three others were kicked off the island.  The island is a sandbar off the northern coast of North Wildwood.
