REPORT: TAX APPEALS WAY UP IN ATLANTIC CITY

Atlantic City is dealing with much more than just casinos filing tax appeals. A new report by the Press of Atlantic City says the city has seen a 33 percent increase in tax appeals. As casinos have gone out of business the overall land values in the city have gone down and that includes other residential and commercial property. Many land owners believe they are being over assessed and are seeking relief.
