REPORT: SUPERSONIC JET CA– USED CAPE MAY COUNTY ‘EARTHQUAKE’

Supersonic aircraft from the United States Navy most likely caused the rumbling that shook Cape May County earlier this month.  Some residents thought an earthquake hit our region on October 29 when homes and businesses shook during the early afternoon hours.  The Middle Township Gazette reports that the rumbles were likely caused by supersonic jets practicing over what’s known as the “racetrack” over open waters that stretches as far north as Atlantic City.
