A report in Philadelphia says the Superfresh supermarket located in Cape May Court House will be closing in the coming weeks. Philly.com reports that the supermarket company that owns Superfresh and Pathmark supermarkets will be closing ten stores in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, including the Superfresh store in Cape May Court House. The report says that all of the stores on the chopping block will close in the next two months, and nearly 600 jobs will be lost. The president of a meat cutters union believes that the parent company is going to close stores that they do not believe can be turned around.
