REPORT: STOCKTON SPENT ROUGHLY $8 MILLION ON SHOWBOAT PURCHASE

A new report says that Stockton University has spent almost $8 million since buying the shuttered Showboat Casino. The Press of Atlantic City reports that the school would still lose roughly $2 million if the $22 million sale of the casino to Philadelphia developer Bart Blatstein goes through. The school hasn’t been able to open the property since its purchase and are currently paying for it to remain closed.
