REPORT: STATE WIPES OUT ETHICS COMPLAINT AGAINST MAHANEY

That ethics complaint that was filed against Cape May Mayor Ed Mahaney by three residents? It’s gone.  The Cape May County Herald reports that the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs has dismissed an ethics complained filed against Mahaney earlier this year.  The department’s Local Finance Board chairman ruled last week that the complaint had no merit.  At issue was Mahaney’s relationship with Temple University and naming rights at the university.
