REPORT: STATE IS RUNNING LOW ON OPEN SPACE

A new study says that New Jersey could run out of open space within the next 40 years. Rowan and Rutgers universities released a collaborative study that says the state is now covered more by construction, than forest. This is the first time the state has had less open space than housing and shopping. The study warns that the urban sprawl that is taking place needs to be slowed down to keep New Jersey with some open land.
