REPORT: STATE HASN’T RECIEVED MOST OF FEDERAL AID YET

A new report says that even though New Jersey was promised a ton of aid following Hurricane Sandy, it hasn’t arrived. A report by the Star-Ledger says that only 13 percent of the nearly $6 billion that was earmarked for the state has arrived. The article suggests that the process has become much slower following Hurricane Katrina, where large portions of aid went missing.
