REPORT: SEA ISLE RESIDENTS COULD BE FACED WITH TAX HIKE

A tax increase is possible in Sea Isle City next year.  The Upper Township Gazette reports that the Chief Financial Officer for the city spoke at a council meeting earlier this month and talked about a possible 1.5 cent increase in the local purpose tax rate.  A potential tax hike in Sea Isle City will be attributed to debt service payments and anticipated increases in health care costs.
