A new report says a potential buyer for the Revel Casino wants to build a school next to the property. The Press of Atlantic City reports that Glenn Straub, who put a $90 million bid on the property doesn’t want to focus on the casino alone, but rather look into other aspects to help the resort and the area. A bankruptcy auction will take place on Sept. 24 to determine if Straub’s bid will win or if another person will put in a higher bid.
