It looks like the race for a township committee seat in Middle Township is down one candidate. The Gazette Leader reports that Sam Kelly of Swainton dropped out of the race. He wrote a letter last week that cited personal reasons for his inability to stay in the race; the letter was written by local attorney and former committee candidate Stephen Barry. The race is now down to two candidates, republican Tim Donohue and independent Steven Russell. Committeeman Nate Doughty is not seeking re-election.
