REPORT: SAILBOAT RUNS AGROUND IN COLD SPRING INLET

A bit of a problem over the weekend for a 47-foot sailboat that ran aground Friday just north of the Cold Spring Inlet in Lower Township. The Press of Atlantic City reports that the “Tiffany” was occupied when it ran aground, but everyone on board was able to get off safely. However, the boat has a full 250 gallon tank of fuel, and Coast Guard officials continue to monitor the situation for leaks.
