REPORT: ROAD PROJECT IN OCEAN CITY WONT BE DONE BY HOLIDAY

A major road project in Ocean City will not be completed by Memorial Day weekend.  The Ocean City Gazette reports that a major project along Bay Avenue will not be done in time for the holiday weekend, and some merchants are none too happy about it.  County Engineer Dale Foster says the work is behind schedule and the county’s contractor has to work around utility company crews.  Foster says work continues until late fall, and will shut down for the summer.
