The owner of the former Revel Casino is going to face daily fines for not operating within the city’s fire code. The Press of Atlantic City reports that Glenn Straub fired 9 union workers who were operating the emergency equipment at the casino and daily fines of $1,000 will be imposed. Straub said he was going to bring in outside contractors but that hasn’t happened to this point. The casino was purchased by Straub’s company back in April for $82 million.
