A lot of the blame for the purchase of the Showboat Casino by Stockton University falls with their former president. Stockton University released a report the divides blame, but includes former Stockton President Herman J. Saatkamp Jr. The board of trustees, attorney’s for the school, and Caesars were among those that had some blame according to the report. The building hasn’t been used for anything since its purchase and is costing the school monthly, while it remains closed.
