REPORT: PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE TO CONDUCT REVIEW OF WILDWOOD CREST POLICE

Wildwood Crest has asked for, and will receive, a review of its police department from the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that Wildwood Crest Mayor Carl Groon asked for a review of procedures at the Borough’s police department.  Recently retired Wildwood Crest Police Chief Thomas DePaul confirms there is an internal investigation but he cannot discuss details.  Police Captain David Mayer is now in charge of the department.
