REPORT: PROPERTY REVAL COMING TO DENNIS TOWNSHIP

A property revaluation is coming to Dennis Township.  The Middle Township Gazette reports that Cape May County Tax Assessor George Brown has ordered a revaluation of the properties in Dennis Township thanks to an over assessment of about 24 percent.  The revaluation is expected to begin next week and the entire tax base in the township could drop by 20 percent.  Brown says the last revaluation conducted in Dennis Township was eight years ago.
