REPORT: POTENTIAL DELAY IN PIPELINE APPLICATION

Upper Township did not get approvals from the Pinelands Commission for projects at its public works complex, and that may slow down the application for a new gas pipeline to the B.L. England Generating Station.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that violations were found when the Commission reviewed some ariel photographs and that means potential delays for the gas line project.   Upper Township Mayor Richard Palombo says it was an oversight, and the application is being prepared this week.
