A new report says Egg Harbor Township’s police chief is set to retire. Shorenewstoday.com reports that Michael Morris has filed his resignation papers to the township as he is set to retire from a 27-year career in law enforcement. The resignation would be effective Feb. 1. Morris was first hired in 1987 and worked his way up through the ranks.
