REPORT: PINELANDS PIPELINE MOVES CLOSER TO REALITY

The controversial natural gas pipeline that may run through the Pinelands has moved closer to fruition.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that the Pinelands Commission determined that the application to construct the 22-mile long pipeline has received a certificate of filing, which is a big step towards construction.  The project initiated by South Jersey Gas still needs to get other approvals.
