The Washington Post reports that a probationary officer from Maryland has been suspended after he was charged in connection with a case in Atlantic City. Steven Varga was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct in connection with an incident in the gaming resort last Wednesday. Varga has worked for Prince George’s County Police Department for about one year.
