In the early morning hours of Sunday, a report of shots fired came into the Lower Township Police Department. The shots were reported in the 100 West block of Wilde Avenue at 5:50 a.m., but no evidence of gunfire was found. The next day, a resident of the area reported finding bullet holes in her home. Lower Township Police are investigating the incident along with members of the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit.
