Some major capital improvement projects are coming to Ocean City. The Press of Atlantic City reports that city council reviewed a new five year capital plan on Tuesday and it could result in a new boardwalk, new turf at Carey Field, and bigger beaches. Ocean City is counting on a new beach fill project this year, and will see another one in 2015. Ocean City also plans on replacing its boardwalk from Fifth to 12th Streets, which the project taking nine years to complete.
