Ocean City Mayor Jay Gillian says his family’s legendary amusement pier will not go up for auction because he has secured financing to help settle large debts. Gillian told NBC10 News that the pier will be open for the summer season, and the pier will not go up for sheriff’s sale. The report says the Gillians have defaulted on $8 million in loans.
