REPORT: OCEAN CITY HOME BANK BUYS SELECT BANK

Another bank acquisition in Cape May County. The Press of Atlantic City reports that Ocean City Home Bank will acquire Select Bank of Egg Harbor Township for just over $11 million. Ocean City Home Bank says the acquisition will help make it the community bank for Atlantic County. Ocean City Home Bank and Select Bank each currently have branches in Egg Harbor Township, Mays Landing and Absecon. The report says those branches will be consolidated, leaving Ocean City Home Bank with 12 locations.
