REPORT: NO TAKEOVER OF BORDERS BOOKS

A rumored take over of the Borders bookstores in Atlantic County will not happen.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that the Books a Million chain could not finalize a deal with Borders books which will likely mean the Borders will close for good in September.  Borders announced last week that it was going out of business, and will close nearly 400 stores around the country, including one in Mays Landing.
