A tea party candidate is trying to make a name for himself in the GOP Freeholder primary in March. The Press of Atlantic City reports that John “Jay” Young, of Lower Township, has submitted his paperwork to party leadership. Young is the fourth candidate to announce his intentions to run, along with Lower Township Councilman Glenn Douglass, Upper Township Committeewoman Kristine Gabor, and William Morey. Young told the paper he has no political experience but is looking forward to getting involved in the process.
