REPORT: NEW COUNCILMAN IN OCEAN CITY WON'T RUN AGAIN

A newly appointed councilman in Ocean City says as of now, he has no plans to seek re-election in November.  John Flood was appointed to the seat that was vacated by Susan Sheppard, who recently resigned from council to take a position on the Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders.  Flood told the Press of Atlantic City that as of now he has no intentions to run again for his 3rd Ward council seat.  Flood previously served on the Ocean City council for eight years, ending in 1996.
