REPORT: NEW BUDGET INTRODUCED BY LOWER TOWNSHIP MUA

A new budget for next year was presented by the Lower Township MUA. The Cape May County Herald reports that there is not expected to be a rate increase, but there is expected to be a $322,000 shortfall. A meeting was held on Oct. 5 to introduce the budget. The report says 3,000 new customers are expected next year could erase that deficit. The MUA is working on expanding water service in the township.
