REPORT: NATIONAL NIGHT OUT CANCELLED IN OCEAN CITY

Ocean City will not have a National Night Out event on Tuesday night.  City officials say the plug has been pulled on the community event largely because Police Benevolent Association Local 61 will not spend several thousand dollars on an event lasting only a couple of hours.  City Business Administrator James Mallon told the Press of Atlantic City that another bigger event will be planned in the fall.
