There’s a push in Ocean City to create a new park in the south end of the resort. The Press of Atlantic City reports that some residents are circulating a petition around town asking the city to turn a lot into a park at 30th Street and Simpson Avenue. There are six undeveloped lots at the site after the United States Army Corps of Engineers sued a developer to stop construction. Supporters say there are three parks in the north end of Ocean City, but none in the south end.
