REPORT: MORE THAN $1 BILLION SPENT ON BEACH FUNDING IN NEW JERSEY

More than $1 billion has been spent on beach nourishment projects in New Jersey over the past 30 years.  NJ.com reports that the data was compiled by coastal expert Dr. Stewart Farrell at Richard Stockton University.  The amount of sand placed on our beaches over the past three decades is enough to fill the Jets and Giants football stadium 60 times.
