Middle Township school district officials are dealing with a problem involving mold inside a classroom at the township’s elementary school number one. According to a report by the Cape May County Herald, mold was spotted growing on toys, glue sticks, and even the American flag inside a first grade classroom inside the school. Some custodial staff were at the school over the weekend to clean up the problem. Superintendent Michael Kopakowski told The Herald that quote “everything looks okay” after a cleanup effort. Kopakowski also says that the school district is looking into the HVAC system at the building as well.
