REPORT: MIDDLE TWP. TO CLOSE LOCAL GRAVEL PIT

Middle Township is ready to shut down a local gravel pit near Fishing Creek Road.  The Middle Township Gazette reports that a pit operated by the R.E. Pierson Construction Company has failed to meet the Township’s demands for various compliances.  Mayor Mike Clark says the company did not comply, so the pit will be closed at the end of this year.
