REPORT: MIDDLE TWP. RECEIVES MONEY FOR PARKWAY TREE PLANTINGS

The State of New Jersey has awarded Middle Township $382,000 to help replace the trees that were taken down as part of the expansion project involving the Garden State Parwkway.  The Cape May County Herald reports that the announcement was made during the Wednesday evening Township Committee meeting and requires no matching dollars.  1,275 trees will be planted by the Township with the state picking up the tab.
