REPORT: MIDDLE TOWNSHIP MAY GET MORE COPS

It’s possible the Middle Township Police Department could be adding additional officers soon.  The Middle Township Gazette reports that the township committee is in support of expanding the size of the township’s police department.  There are 43 officers in Middle Township, and that number could grow by at least two next year.  Police Chief Chris Leusner says more cops could result in more investigations into alleged gang activity and the distribution of narcotics.
