REPORT: MATT SZCZUR SIGNS WITH CHICAGO CUBS

The website for the Press of Atlantic City reports that former Lower Cape May Regional High School sports standout Matt Szczur has signed a professional baseball contract to play for the Chicago Cubs.  Szczur was a fifth round draft pick for the Cubs, and the Press reports that he will report to a minor league baseball team in the next few days.  Szczur will also be able to play college football for Villanova University in the fall as he returns for his senior season.  For more, visit www.pressofatlanticcity.com.
