A startling health care announcement is coming from Cape Regional Medical Center. The Press of Atlantic City reports that as of September 15th, maternity care will no longer be provided by the hospital. The reason? The lack of available OB/GYN physicians. A hospital spokeswoman says they will work with Shore Medical Center and AtlantiCare to transition patients to those facilities.
